Why not join us for one of our leisurely SUP Tours around Scarborough’s picturesque North Bay? We will show you the best hidden gems the area has to offer. Porpoise and seals love to swim on past so don’t forget your cameras!

WHAT IS THE PADDLEBOARD TOUR?

The Yorkshire Coast is without doubt one of the most impressive coastlines located in the United Kingdom. From golden beaches, to rugged cliff tops home to an abundance of wildlife, it’s fair to say the area has it all.

Our SUP Tours have continued to grow in popularity each year. We always start the day with some basic Paddle boarding skills and safety tips prior to heading out. Each student will have their own Fanatic Fly Air 10’8 SUP. These have great tilt stability which is ideal for beginners.

Once out on the water you’ll learn all about our local history within the bay before skirting along the Jurassic Coast. You’ll navigate through Rock pool’s hosting all manner of mini beasts : urchins, crabs, whelks and periwinkles. 

The local Seal population love to check what’s moving about above so keep an eye out. In the shallows you may notice passing Porpoise! They’re always hunting small fish there.

DO YOU PROVIDE EQUIPMENT?

We provide everything required to participate in the tour. Paddleboards, wetsuits, safety equipment, lockers, toilets, and full changing facilities – located at the shop.

Please remember that safety is always our number one priority and these tours may be cancelled at short notice if it is too dangerous to go out onto the water. These excursions can at times be affected by wind speed / direction.

WHEN DO THE PADDLEBOARD TOURS TAKE PLACE?

Paddleboard Tours run everyday, although we are limited to four excursions daily. We recommend booking in advance due to high demand.
