It’s a Great Way to Spend Time With Friends and Family – Kayaking is a social activity and it’s easy to talk and laugh while you paddle around. It’s also a great bonding experience as you have to work together to navigate the water.
You Can Explore New Places – Kayaking is an awesome way to explore new places. Many hidden gems can only be accessed by ‘yak’. This means you can explore parts of the world that most people will never see. You will get a different perspective of the places you visit due to being closer to the water and wildlife.
It’s a complete workout – Kayaking is a brilliant full body workout; not only is it great for the mind and soul, but it is also great for burning calories and toning up.
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU PROVIDE?
Kayaks – Our sit-on- top Kayak are designed to offer extra stability in their width. Perfect for beginners, summer days, and having fun. They are stable, safe, and easy to use – so you won’t need any previous experience.
Buoyancy Aids – Our Ion Booster Vests offer added buoyancy and comfort. They have all met CE standards and passed their rigorous testing process. We offer sizes ranging from Junior 2-3 years – Adults 5XL
Wetsuits – All of our hire suits are made by Ion. They are a minimum of 5/4mm thick and will keep you warm for whatever the North Sea throws at you! (Boots, gloves & hoods are also included)
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
We do ask that you bring along a spare change of clothing and a towel. Our surf shop is positioned on the beachfront. We have newly refurbished changing rooms, toilets, and free lockers to keep your belongings safe while you’re in the water.

FAQ's
On arrival at the surf shop, we will show you where the kit is, assist you with finding the correct sizes – and offer any safety advice that is required for the conditions of the day. Then you will be shown to our changing rooms where you can get ready for your session!
Once you are ready, head back downstairs, and our team will hook you up with a Kayak, Paddle and Buoyancy Aid. We will then let you know where is best to position yourselves in the bay according to your skill level, and off you go!

Our equipment hire services are open to people aged 13+ However, if you are under the age of 18, an appropriate adult must be available to sign out the equipment.
