Tiny Tunas Watersports Club

Come join our awesome (3 – 5 years) Tiny Tunas Watersports Club! These extra special lessons help build confidence, water skills, and more importantly are loads of fun! A great introduction to life at the beach. North Bay Scarborough offers the perfect learning environment.

What is the Tiny Tunas Watersports Club?

Our Tiny Tunas Watersports Club emphasis is on safety, fun, and gradual confidence building. We do this in a friendly environment with fully qualified Surfing England & SLSGB instructors. All our coaches are first aid trained and DBS checked.

The lessons are designed with child participation in mind. They provide excellent opportunity to learn about beach safety and sea awareness. Bodyboarding takes place in shallow water, no deeper than the child’s knee. Our instructor to student ratio is never more than 6-1. This gives each Tiny Tuna an equal opportunity to hone their future skillsets.

If you would like your child to gain confidence in the sea, around others, and learn something new, then the Tiny Tunas Watersports Club is perfect!

Do you provide equipment?

We provide everything required to participate in the class. Bodyboards, wetsuits, safety equipment, lockers, toilets, and full changing facilities – located at the shop. North Bay Scarborough is literally on our doorstep!

We know how hard recent times have been on all families so we have purposely made each session as affordable as possible.

We do ask Parents / Guardians to be situated within close proximity of this group, although they are more than welcome to take part!

Please remember that safety is always our number one priority and these sessions may be cancelled at short notice if it is too dangerous to go out onto the water.
